A New Security Company Is in Town
I just read a very interesting article at Family Home Security.
They did a thorough write-up on a brand new security company called Melaleuca Home Security that entered the home business market. This one was started by a well known home biz company that already has over 200,000 active people enrolled into their core business.
This company expects to compete against ADT, APX and other big security companies.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how they do against the big and trusted brands that are the standard go-to for everyone who needs a security system of any type.You have to wonder what the quality level of the monitoring is. The equipment is almost always the same across all of the security companies out there so it boils down to the monitoring.
I have a hard time believing that these guys will even make a dent in the big players but they sure talk the talk and they have seen massive success in the wellness markets as I’m sure you have heard at one time or not.
The fact is that the prices are sure to turn heads a little bit despite what looks like a lame compensation plan. Guess we’ll see what happens!
The prices seem quite low given the high tech pitch to the industry and to consumers that these guys are making.
Guess we can just do one thing and that’s to wish them luck and welcome to the home security space!
