Dead Electric Car
The other day I was watching this movie, “Who Killed the Electric Car,” and that movie really got me thinking about the whole electric car situation. Everything is so messed up. So what apparently happened, was that this major car company, made these really energyefficient cars that ran only on electricity. You actually go home and plug them in at night. The only problem was that you could only go like 120 miles in a single charge. They were amazing. And its not like they were little tiny cars or anything. They actually were pretty big. They did lots of studiesmost of and found that most people didn’t really drove less than forty mile in a day. It you were one of the people who drove less than 100 miles in a day then, why wouldn’t you get an electric car. The company made thousands of these electric cars, and people were on huge waiting lists to get them. They sold every single car. And the people were so happy. They even made car clubs, went on trips together, had chat rooms just for electric car enthusiasts. The whole country was starting to fall in love with these cars. Then something crazy happened. The company decided to do a recall on the cars. They said that they were dangerous and something was horribly wrong with them. So the big bad motor company went around buying back all the cars. All of them. No exceptions were to be made. They would sneak in the middle of the night and steal them back from people, but then give them money. Nobody really knew why this happened, since hardly anybody had any real big problems with their cars. The company took all the electric cars away, and the worst thing was… the cars were just crushed and destroyed. Not even recycled or anything. It seems that somebody really wanted these cars gone. Maybe the gas companies had something to with it. Do you think so?
